This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to accuratebackflow.com. Questions go to the office using the details at the end of this page.
Information you give us
When you request a service, you fill in a form provided by Jobber, the scheduling software we use. It asks for your name, company name, email address, phone number, home and service address, gate code, a description of the work and, if you choose, photos. We use it to reply, schedule the visit, prepare quotes and invoices, and file backflow test results with your utility where required.
If you call or email us, we keep what you share so we can help you and keep a record of the job.
The request form lets you choose whether to receive marketing emails and text messages. You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any message and stop texts by replying STOP.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one uses cookies and similar tools through Google Tag Manager to measure how it is used: pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, and approximate location. These tools may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Microsoft Clarity. We use the results to improve the site and to understand which advertising works. We do not use them to identify you personally.
Our host, Vercel, measures how fast pages load for visitors (Vercel Speed Insights). It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
The map on the contact page loads from Google Maps only when you choose to show it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of this website and our business — Jobber for service requests and scheduling, Google and Microsoft for analytics and maps, Vercel for hosting — and when the law requires it, for example to answer a valid legal request or to file backflow test results with a water utility.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the records we must keep for tax, warranty and compliance reasons.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep service records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal and compliance obligations. Information is stored with our service providers, who protect it with industry-standard security. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
